Ok, well this weekend i finally got to install my stage 3 clutch and fidanza aluminum flywheel, not as easy as i had thought but me and a few others got it done. But after i got the car back together and tried to bleed the clutch out i couldnt get it to bleed at all, and i messed with it for several hours,i even tried a vacumm pump to pull the fluid from the reservior and nothing, then i noticed it was leaking from that area.
Well i believe the slave cylinder that came with my clutch was bad from the start, and is the reason i cant get any pedal.
Ive looked on SPEC's website and could not find any info about what kind of warranty comes on these parts. The clutch has been sitting in my garage on the shelf for about 6 months or so, i was trying to wait for the new turbo engine to go in to put these parts in, but my flywheel got some broken teeth for the starte ring gear so i had to install them now.
I have called SPEC also but got a voicemail becaue none was avaialble to talk to me, so hopefully they will call me back very soon.
The local trans shop wants 375 to tow the car to the shop and replace the slave cylinder, and a new slave thru them is 150 bucks, and thats with very little markup, as i have called around and checked prices, its a dealer only item.
So if SPEC will replace it it woudl sure make me happy.
What other options do i have?
