need question answered before car goes in the shop

I need a clutch on my car, it's a 2.4, 150,500+ miles on original clutch. I went to a shop today and they quoted me 799.00 + tax. The clutch name is Luk, comes with the Slave cylinder I think, and the throw out berring. Guy said that he can do it in one day.

My question is:

1. Is this a good price to install the clutch? He said that he can "cut" the flywheel for $45.00 The price of the clutch itself with the slave cylinder is $414.00 He also said that if I need a rear seal, he will do that as well just for the price of the part as the car will be ripped apart anyway.

2. Has anyone heard of Luk Clutchs? Are they any good? He told me they are OEM performance replacement. He said they are better then OEM.

I don't trust anyone to work on my car with a major repair as this but, since I know jack about how to install a clutch and pretty much anything major as this, I guess I need to let him do it.

I really need advice on what to do as far as what kind of clutch goes in the car. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on this because I will be getting rid of the car within the next year anyway. I think I have less then a week with the current setup, and I drive alot.

To date, the only real repair that was made on the car was front struts and mounts.

Thanks in advance, and looking forward to your replys.

Chris
