so i was stopping for gas and get in my car to leave and it won't shift into gear. the linkage is broken somewhere (on the cab side of the firewall i think). do i need to change the cable, or is there a possibility something just came loose? also, where does the cable go through the firewall at? into the tranny at?
i've never done any tranny work so this will be a learning experience. any help would be greatly appreiated. thanks.
by the way, it's an 02 automatic
