i'm doing the auto to 5 speed isuzu swap, i'm slowly colleting parts for the swap, i got a clutch pedal from the wreakers, just wondering if i need to swap the break pedal too, or is there anyway i can keep it???
well you might be able to just cut the pedal
ive got both pedals for my swap
is the brake "arm" angled differently? if its just cutting the pedal, thats no problem, i really dont wanna take that pedal out, looks like alot of work
actually it is prett easy , alot easier if the whole dash is out
but im not sure on the angle , best would be to put the clutch pedal in and see how much needs to be cut and go from there
i would, but my Z is in Europe, i'm collecting the parts and am gonna ship them there
I used my stock Auto brake pedal (I just did the swap 3 weeks ago) Its a bit annoying but you get used to it...I plan on chopping the auto brake pedal...But I also will get 5spd aftermarket pedals...to cover up the cut...lol
