i dont think it will work on our cars. the link said it is made for a returnless fuel system, and our cars have a return fuel system.

Alot of FMUs are universal but never heard of this company...

If you want, I'm selling a Vortech 12:1 FMU for cheap (best offer). Let me know if you're interested.

kevin (speed mafia) sells it with the procharger kit.

My buddy troy had it on his 04 ion and he loved it.

all it does is control an external fuel pump based on boost

and then it pumps out as much fuel as you set it to.

Aeromotive is a huge company Adam... but.. no that wont work on our cars. Returnless fuel systems regulate fuel pressure by pulsing the fuel pump on and off. This FMU is pretty much like an SAFC for fuel injctors. It is letting you regulate fuel pressure to a set point by modifying the duty cycle of the fuel pump. It would cost as much as a stand-alone system to make this thing work.

on the instuction page it says:
Note: This device is intended for use on mildly supercharged or turbo charged OEM non-return
style fuel systems. This device will not function on return style fuel systems, unless the
external boost pump is placed after the by-pass regulator. For accurate tuning, a wide band
O2 sensor is highly recommended.Note: This device is intended for use on mildly supercharged or turbo charged OEM non-return

and i talked to a shop last night they said that it would work

why would you want to risk buying something with that kind of pricetag, to find out it doesn't work for you? Get something that is proven to work on our fuel system.

Seems like a waste of money to me.Why would you spend so much money on something thats not designed for your car?Just get a cartech fmu and call it a day.An fmu is a bandaid anyway, thats why the guy with the 350z got rid of it.He probably got a standalone.

I think you should do more shopping around...$400 for an FMU is alot of money and it will be $400 wasted if you buy a product that will not work for your vehicle. I highly suggest you look into either a Cartech or Vortech FMU which DO work on our vehicles. I have a Vortech FMU if you really need one for sale, best offer.

I personally wouldnt buy it but Aeromotive is a very very reputable company. My dad has a $400 fuel pump and regulator on his old school camaro. And boy does it pump fuel like a mother.

Its not that the product has any sort of questionable quality in it. Aeromotive has been around for years, and in my opinion is one of the leaders in fuel delivery and management. The problem lies where the digital FMU is used for returnless fuel systems, it is not designed for our cars.

I think that kind of money would be better spent on an emanage or something of the sort.

Bottom line, it will not work on our fuel system.
