They are the opposite of the cavi..... the air box is on the passanger side..... for turbo though it MIGHT work... but LOTS of fabbing and stuff for the i/c pipes to fit etc.... would need to be done ...

And that there is the one concern about using this for a j-body. There is no way to tell without measurement data if this might hit the radiator support. My hunch is it probably will fit, but I wouldn't bet the bank on it.

Nope, he's wrong. Did you even look at the picture? It doesn't matter what side the stock intake box is on, this is a new intake MANIFOLD! Look at the photo! It places the throttle body on the DRIVER side of the engine.

if that manifold placed the tb on the drive side then the injectors would be facing UPWARDS.... NEVER seen that before.....the fuel rail would be UNDERNEATH the intake mani .............. but thats just me.... oh and I DID look at the picture!!![/QUOTE
what the hell are you talking about? Do you have a right hand driver cav or something? If that manifold got put on an eco, with the throttle body on the driver side, the injectors would be on the TOP, FACING DOWN like every other manifold. The problem is that unlike the stock manifold which slopes down in the front, this one slopes up, which will most likely collide with the hood.

And thats what I said.... it most likely won't fit, but not for the reasons that some people were saying... The AIRBOX location had nothing to do with it as the TB is in the exact same spot on the stock ion mani as it is on the cav. And just fyi, i do regular maintenance on an Ion, it may have more room, but its not all that much more.
