Does anyone know why when I hit the rev limiter (not on purpose of course), the car runs on 2 or 3 cylinders for maybe a minute and then clears itself up and runs like normal again? Its no big deal, but it does get annoying

The way i understand it the rev limiter
shuts off your injection system. so
if that stands true its possible one of
your injectors is getting stuck or jammed.
