It would be pushing it, depending on the turbo.

If the waste gate is set to 8 psi and you want to turn it down, then you will have to get either a different waste gate, different spring, or an adjustable waste gate w/ a threaded rod.

A boost controller can only RAISE psi from the waste gate

i know you're anxious to get that thing running, but you'd be very lucky if you ran boost on your stock fuel system and didnt break anything. 99% of the time the stock fuel system can not provide enough fuel for any boost at all let alone 4psi. an n/a fuel system just isnt designed to flow that much fuel because it doesnt need to. do it right the first time and add some decent fuel mods before you run it, that way you won't need a completely new engine to go with that ported head you have.

It will have a threaded actuator arm. (it's the rod coming out of the round bronze diaphram)

You can find adj. internal T3 wastegates on ebay for cheap sometimes

oh btw, I would get some fuel mods if I were you. An OHV is a terrible thing to waste...........

I believe 4-5 psi is pushing it. I think I was able to run 6 psi but quickly tapered it down to 4 as rpm increased. That's with fuel pressure hitting a maximum safe recommended level and keeping to less than 90% duty cycle. But I'd look for some other way to get fuel into your engine because 4-5 psi will only keep you happy for a week or two before you want to try turning it up. More boost + stock fuel system = meltdown.
