2.7 pulley - any additional fuel needed?
Tuesday, September 20, 2005 9:17 AM
so, in getting the 2.7 pulley, has anyone upgraded any fuel with it, if you're running the gm 00+ program and injectors and stock fuel pump? has anyone had any problems or needed to upgrade anything? running rich or lean?

just to fancy my curiosity

Having second thoughts about getting the pulley are we? You'll be fine with the reflash to run a 2.7 just run a little hotter like Taetsch Z24 said.

no no, in terms of heat and reliability! lol

i've done the trip on the stock pulley with no problems, now wondering on 2.7.....

taestch you talk of all this heat, and i remember old posts of ppl say no problems with the 2.7 (a little more heat of course), but major heat and fuel problems with the 2.6, so im kinda stuck for now on the reliability of the 2.7......

... 80K on mine......60K on the blower alone... 6K on the 2.7" pulley and 3 trips to and from WI..... so more than 6K on the blower with the 2.7" pulley...

its reliabl.... just bring a extra belt just incase.

But with the 2.7", will you need a powerful fuel pump? or stock one is ok?
