those that find that amazing need some pills to think straight. It's plain useless and cost more $$$ than what it bring. if you do it for show, the people that know boost will just laugh at you. Gravana did it and it bring alot of people that don't know how it works to think it's cool because you have 2 charger but it's useless.

how is twincharging useless youll get more boost as soon as the super runs out of potential!!!

supercharger for low end, turbo for high end. still pointless, you can accomplish the same effect with proper tuning and a good setup with quality parts.

It's more complicated, but certainly not pointless.

Hell, VW is looking to do this on some of their cars from the factory.

i guess a twin turbo set up is retarded too.....

i like the idea. it's cool and a rarity on the road. and sure you will have all that extra air pushin through from the s/c, a bigger turbo will spool up at a lower rpm.

what kind of supercharger would you like to do it with. centrifigul, or eaton?

I imagine the easiest way would be to add a turbo to an engine with the GM S/C on it.

Get boost sooner? Size your turbo properly and get a good turbo header (not log style) and you'll get boost as soon as you want.

I get boost at 1500rpm on my Gtz with a T3/T04E. sie it right with a good desing for the header and there will be no need for an SC.

Plus, the Sc will take some Hp from the engine so you still have to run more boost to keep up with the single turbo.

If 2 charger would be better, why the supra guy switch for 1? why the V8 guy use only 1 turbo?

If you plan on making1000-1500hp with your 2.4, maybe it's a good idea since the turbo will be really big but otherwise it's useless. Waste of money.

Correction, VW will be doing this to at least on of their diesel engines (per Frankfurt auto show info). I also heard GM will be manufacturing a TT 4 cyl for some Euro apps, odd...
