I was wondering about when installing an turbo for an automatic, would you have to do things alot more differently, than you would with a 5-speed? And, also when get yours parts for your turbo, would the setup be alot different? Just trying to get some insight, because I wont a turbo, but I was wondering is it worth it on an automatic.

Thanks.

I plan on getting the Stage 2 HAHN Turbo Kit because I've heard that all you have to do is re-route the inctercooler piping for it to work. And my car is Automatic also. IMO, I find it cool beating someone that has a 5-speed when I have an Automatic. Thats just me though.

The hahn's turbo kits for the ecotec engine are only made for 5spd tranny

the only reason hahn said he didnt make a turbo for an automatic is because he was afraid that the tranny wouldnt hold up... there are alot of automatic jbodys that are boosted so i dont think that statement is totally accurate..

but yes the only thing u need to change on the hahn kit is the piping from what i hear.. but if i was u... i would work on ur tranny and make sure it can handle the power

here comes the boost!

Give me a couple months and hopefully I will prove that statement incorrect...

havn't had any problems with my auto yet.. running 10lbs of boost with the autotrans interceptor set at 100% it has been great, definatly wouldn't trade it for a 5speed...
