His manifold WAS chep BUT IT BLOWS ASS, who designed that fuking thing.

Well let me tell you my last experience with this crap.
I get the manifold about a week late which is awesome, I mean I was supprised and happy, and I go to put it on the motor and this goes...................
It fits on the motor, but the Turbo won't go on it.
If I turn the compressor to the driver side it hits the block, and if I turn it to the passnager it hits the FIREWALL and the compressor gets in the way of EXTERNAL WG.
Guess what was wrong with it??
FLANGE WAS WELDED TO THE WRONG OFFSET!!!
Another thing, the waste gate TUBE shoots toward the compressor housing and I had to cut it off and get a straight up piece for the WG!!
Guess what was wrong there???
I think he NEVER saw this motor!!!
Another thing the manifold WAS NOT WELDED UNDER THE T3 FLANGE WHERE THE BOLTS FOR THE TURBO GOES. You know the M10 1.5's.
All 4 of them were leaking cause there were about 1/2 inch holes under them.
Guess what was wrong??
He DIDN'T WELD IT, because IT IS HARD, but all he had to do is go buy the studs and permenantly weld them in there.
Another thing.
T3 flange WAS SO WARPPED, it had about 1/16th of an inch GAP there.
Let me explain you how much that is?? You need about 3 T3 GASKETS TO MAKE UP FOR THE WARPAGE.
Everything if fixed right now, but quit swinging man, and blowing smoke up peoples asses, please??

Come on Jasmin, you and I are cool. It is no fualt of my own what happened with your manifold. Yes, I did hate him as a business man while I was waiting for something for so long. This manifold was promise to be at my house before christmas. After I started actually talking to him about things other than business, I realised he was a cool guy. Don't get me wrong, I am never going to be happy about the wait.
I know that you had big issues with your manifold. Take that up with him. I have nothing to do with his business other than being a friend of his.
Did you talk to him about this? I know that YOU know how to get ahold of him.

Rather than resorting to E-thuggin, I talked it out with Jasmin. We are cool. I will be talking to Brian and making sure no Ecotec manifolds come out the wrong way anymore.

Exactly. I'd much rather just see this thread get locked than have anymore bashes on Exploited or myself for trying to help him out, so please, if any mods come accross this thread again, just lock it and let it die. I appologize for posting something that might cause any dispute.

Sorry man, but Id like some closer shots of those welds and then I would tell you if it's pretty.
I do know that my exploited manifold is all full of seargent stripes, undercut, underfill, and lack of penetration. AKA welds defects!
Maybe he learned how to weld sometime after he built mine.
I have an exploited manifold for my 2.2ohv and there is hairline fractures all throughout the welds.
I got this manny used with my cavalier i bought.
Other than that, looks in alright shape. Hope yours works out ok.
The early exploited manifolds were not built very well but a lot of people can attest to the current quality of the manifolds. I will take pictures soon with my 4 megapixel camera and post the 56k nightmare pics so people can see the detail after the gate flange is on it.

All done. Before you say anything, yes I do know that the wastegate is on the bottom of the manifold. It is angled so it hits exactly where the downpipe is.
