Hey everyone. I have been doing some research for a turbo kit for my car and iam trying to figure out if this a good buy it has a t3/t4 57trim turbo and comes with a wastegate and a bov. i know that adler has a 60 trim turbo cause he can with us to the races and that thing spools up so fast it's crazy and he spins the tires through 3-4 gear i think. i would like something so spool up fast but not that fast, what do ya'll thing.
i have a 2200 2002 cavalier with an auto trans.

Unless you plan to make some serious hp (over 300whp) that turbo is way too big for you. I'd suggest a 50 or 60 trim T3 with a .48 turbine.

It would be wise to stay away from the SS AutoChrome / Stone Moutain Racing turbos. There are a few people on Honda-Tech who have had problems with their turbos and manifolds. Someone's compressor housing on their turbo cracked, others have had problems with the seals blowing too soon, and their manifolds are also known for cracking.
You would probably be good with something around a T3 Super 60 or maybe smaller. The T3 Super 60 on a 2.2 suppose to be good right up to 300hp.

their manifolds develop cracks and leaks at the welds all the goddamn time. A dumbass at our shop couldn't wait for another company to come out w/ a tubular manifold for the EVO, so he bought from SS Autochrome. Biggest mistake ever, he's constantly coming into the shop to have the cracks at the welds ..... well.... re-welded and cleaned up...
it sure is pretty though... haha.
