yea that's "tootmaker" at turbosaturns.net... that's the HAAS kit he bought.. he got all the piping right and the manifold is smaller because our clearance sucks.

Just a heads up.

would an ion kit actually fit a cav? I know the two cars aren't all that vastly different, but i would think they're different enough where fitment issues would arise in trying to put this kit on cav. Or am i totally off here?

Ion has the ecotec motor which is the same motor that is in the new cavaliers. Meaning the kit would be the same for both cars.

No, they are a little different.

The newer cavies have the standard coolant overflow on the pass. side of the car, the saturns is on the driver side. And a couple other things.

Troy is a good guy, lives about an hour from me. His kit WILL work with the cavaliers but you will need to make some modifications to the Intercooler piping. I cant believe he is selling his stuff. I have the same kit as him on my cavalier. We bought them within the same 2 week period before HAAS shut their doors (those bitches). I can assure you though, you will have a problem with the EIC. It's not very adjustable and it will leave you running very rich (10:1) at high RPM's. Troy and I both had our cars dynod at multiple places in the area to try and correct this issue. With No luck. I'd say for the money, this auction will prolly go for a steal compared to the amount of money that he put into this.

I bet the price on that will be well over $1,000 by the end of the auction, how much do they charge for those kits new? It would'nt be hard to peice those parts together yourself for cheap.
