Ok i had no idea what the supercharger Volute is so i didnt hook this up on my kit. Should i set it up? Pics of the setup would help alot, it seems to be doing fine without it but if its a good idea to use it then i will. Pics would be greatly appreciated *cough*Chris*cough* lol.

Thanks,
-Ben

Ok the volute is the part that looks like a snails shell the outlet is the part that hooks up to your intake via the long silver tube with the BOV.Remove one of the hex plugs from the outlet there are two. There is a 90 deg nipple that came with your hardware. Install it into the Volute leave it loose you may need to change the angle so that the hose has a gentle bend leading to the oil feed. Now install the red hose on to the barbed nipple install both pinch clamps (do not tighten PINCH them yet) work the hose over to the oil feed. At the base of the oil feed is where the hose must be attached use the straight barbed nipple here. Tighten this one first then attach the red hose Cut it to length and slide one of the pinch clamps into place and tighten the clamp with side cutters or pinch pliers if you have them.Make sure not to bend the hose so that the air flow inside is restricted.Cut the hose to length after you check the angle of the 90 deg nipple and routing of the hose.Tighten the 90 deg nipple. attach the hose pinch the clamp your done! I used a SMALL dab of loktite 567 on the threads of barbed fittings. And Ben I,ll send you a email with pictures of mine. But you have to run this for proper oiling of your supercharger.Hope this helps.

Thanks alot, i just went outside and hooked up the air assist. I also noticed a small oil leak, my friend who also works at a shop, messed up a lil bit. The oil was leaking from the oil return line very slightly. I looked closer and it turns out my friend had tightened up the clamp on the supercharger side of the oil return line. Ok, cool, but the problem is that he missed the fitting, probably blocking oil. Luckily it wasnt very tight, so i moved it up onto the fitting and tightened it up. Should be solved now. Im wondering if the little odds and ends will ever end lol. I love it though, keeps the boredom to a minimal when theres stuff to tinker with on my car.
