ok so i installed the rsm supercharger on a 2200 2.2 and i got to computer reprogrammed
it all works but there really isn't a differance in the cars power......
i have 24lb injectors coming, i think stock they are 19lbs
i think it is a fuel problem but i just figured i would see what you guys have to say
tomorrow i am putting the injectors in and a boost gauge so that i can see if it is leaking
what do you think?

I'd say go get it dynoed.

Hmm. More fuel would be a good start.
Not sure what I can do to help without seeing the install.
I have come across more than one bad cat lately. Definately something to look for.
well basically everything went in good. tomorrow i am putting in the boost gauge and the injectors.
there is an engine code that is coming up everyonce in a while the code reads as"fuel system trim lean"
a partial throttle it has great pickup but when i gun it, it seems to bog down.......
bobby at rsm said the injecters would be the most important part, and the fuel pump in the car can support it
after i put in the boost gauge what kind of vaccum numbers and boost numbers should i be seeing. i want to see if there is a leak

wow dude, the way you do things it sounds like you're well on your way to blowing a motor..... Boost gauge and wideband A/f should have gone in with the S/C, before you even ran it, not as an afterthought. And obviously you didn't mod the fuel system appropriately to suit your supercharger since you are throwing codes for a lean condition. Stop driving it , get the boost gauge and a wideband a/f guage installed, do you fuel mods, and THEN start driving it around for tuning purposes.

yes ur bogging down cuz u have no fuel to supply at WOT. IM suprised u didnt blow it that way. DO NOT DRIVE IT HARD AT ALL UNTILL U TUNE IT! And ge all needed hardware.

didn't i say i am doing that today??
i have an a/f gauge it is in stotch when i am at wot
other than that it has great pickup at partial throttle. i am putting the injectors in today and the boost gauge as soon as i get out of work
the code has stopped coming up so i can't be that far off
one more question do i adjust the blow off valve with that nut on the valve it is a vortec bov..... and how should i have it set?

an a/f is about the @!#$tiest piece of equipment you can use to figure out if you're lean or not.

unless your using wideband... it is much more accurate it doesn't jump up and down

Probably would'nt hurt to install an AFPR either .

when did you ever saw a car at WOT that was stoich?? never. otherwise it goes boom!
at WOT, you should be in the rich section.

Without the fuel injectors you'll lean out as soon as you hit boost, thus not making power, and also running your engine DANGEROUSLY lean risking blowing it up! The injectors are not a recomended upgrade, they are very neccesary for running boost. You shouldn't even be driving without them and a blower on the car.

They say "lean is mean".... for a reason!!!
Oh well, i'll just wait for his next post where he says that he blew his engine up and the RSM supercharger is crap for blowing up his engine....

I blew up my engine.............. haha fool you =P
i am still waiting for the injectors.... for now i am keeping the car at like half throttle....
once it goes over 5 psi on the boost gauge it starts to lean out so i am staying away from that......
infact i am trying to keep it at under zero psi and under because i know that is what the stock injectors were made for

I take it the 2200 has tiny injectors??

i think stock injectors in a 2200 is somthing like 19lbs

dont trust your a/f gauge.before i got my wideband,my a/f gauge would read rich at full boost. When i installed my wideband,my car was leaning out as soon as my car hit 3 or 4 psi.If your gauge is reading stoich, your motor is gonna go pop in no time.Id invest in a wideband if i were you.And keep it in vacuum untill you install the injectors.

ha Orange Z u come up with the best answers all the time lol..but i agree Ka-boom
Lol my a/f guage reads stoich when im at WOT on 6psi... im not really worried about it though, i think it was chris orr who had dyno sheets of the same kit and was running 11 a/f ratio so i dont think i have a problem.

well once i pass 4psi it starts rolling back to lean so i am keeping it under 3psi where it stays firmly in the rich.
i love this thing tho i sentra ser was trying to get me to race and i just reved up my motor and the blow off valve made that sound and the guy left me alone
lol
can't wait for the injectors so i can go wot... by the way before i had the boost gauge i floored it just once and it read 10psi!!!! so i called rsm and they told me on a nice cool dry day at a low altitude i can expact to see up to 10psi i was like nice i love living by the water i will keep you guys posted when the injectors get in either today or 2morrow

Injectors isnt gonna do much tho. U can only supply through the injectors what u pump out. An adjustable fuel pressure regualtor is prob a good idea, as well as a Fuel management Unit. Some people may say they are crap, but it will do it for ya. Im not sure if u'll need an upgraded pump.

The SER would have taken you even if you made 8lbs
well rsm said that the injectors is bassically all i need.... they said everything else can suppy it
they recommended 24lb injectors so that is what i am waiting for
