I talked to Craig at RSM Racing this evening.Tomorrow I am placing my order for the stage one supercharger kit. Craig answered all my questions and you can tell he is not just in this for the money. He really knows his stuff and comes across as very down to earth. After I get the supercharger installed I will post pictures and dyno numbers for you to see.

yeah craig is pretty cool , met him at SEMA last nov
talked to him the other day. Nice guy for sure.
yeah...he's alright
If you get your kit before i get mine im gonna be pissed
jk
It's just now cutting it's teeth.
quick question, once you get a supercharger do you HAVE to get the custom intake manifold or can you just run it with the stock one, yes i did search and read every sticky but didnt find an answer...cuz the turbo kit does not come with the manifold..
s/c kit...my bad not turbo kit
It uses the factory manifold.
Gm's ecotec racing development team has stated it is good to about 500hp.

I wonder why the sudden rush for rsm chargers? GM is probably kicking themselves in the teeth right now
Ohwell. the race is on.....who will get theres first?

just a quick question, does rsm install the s/c when you buy it, or does it cost more to have them do it?

Probably for one, they have a pretty good deal on right now at RSM and two, we saw how long the wait for the 2.4 sc's were after GM made the announcement and three, for me, my car is really freakin' slow.

Instalation is not included in the price. We need the car for three days. We charge 9 hours.
I think the rush of blower lit purchases is reflected in our efforts to decrease the price. We are now mass producing all cpomponents. Having them hand made was very expensive.
Hate to be the skeptical one here, but 3900 is an awful lot to sink into a supercharger. I say this for 3 reasons:
1.) Grand ams/Sunfires/LS sports are fairly inexpensive cars brand new and if i blew nearly four grand just to buy this thing (and probably another grand to have it installed), I would be the laughing stock amongst my group of friends who all have imports. A 5k investment on a 13,000 car is not smart.
2.) RSM superchargers have questionable reliability. This has been brought up over and over again. If I had to shell out even more money to have it fixed, then I'd really be pissed.
3.) You factory warranty is fu**ed.
I'm just gonna wait for the GM supercharger which will probably cost half of what RSMs does and will definitely be more reliable. Annoying to wait? Definitely. But I'd rather be patient and save myself a few thousand and have a supercharger that is built by the people that actually made the car.

Then don't. We've heard it all before.
1). None of your points apply to me.
2). I live 15 minutes from RSM, if there are problems, then they will quickly become RSM's problems too.
3). Gee, really? I had no idea, why do you think most wait until their warrantly is done or close too being done before boosting.
Do I have any doubts, sure, but I'm gonna hold RSM accountable and if there are problems then you, me and RSM will know about.
