Efficient manual boost controller?

I'm wanting to get a good manual boost controller, but I'm not sure what's good. Are the twenty dollar ones off eBay any good? I've also considered TURBO SX. I'll have a 12psi spring in my tial 38mm wastegate. Any suggestions?

buy a hallman. Its the last manual boost controller you will buy. you can also get it with the cockpit adjuster. Runs a cable into the car so you can adjust it from the driver seat. I love mine.

I had a turbosmart MBC on my talon and liked it. I bought another to run on the cavalier.

I got Qwibby's old Hallman MBC and it is working great! Although my old $3 hardware store boost controller never failed and was almost as consistant.
