was looking into converting the exhaust studs to bolts to make a better connection to the turbo manifold....tried searching and only thing i found was people talking grade 8 or stainless steel bolts for turbo to turbo manifold
what is everyone using just the stock studs ? or are you converting

studs have higher clamping force than bolts do.
Hence Head Studs > Head bolts
I am using studs. Only way I can see using a bolt is how camron's is, tons of little bolts I would say all around it.
Im still using studs with lock washers and bolts. Never had a problem with exhaust leakage.
