working for honeywell/garrett, i can tell u that that wheel if run as a single piece would run 1200-1300 bucks. if enough are run, then lead times change, and man hours change, and they can be run for 350-400. they might just be breaking even.
Billet is cool and all but if the R&D of the design/profiles isn't right they can actually hurt airflow...
Material " Aluminum Alloy " "O" material "T" material, who knows...

Billet can be machined thinner at the same strength as a cast wheel. The benefit is in better aero/higher compressor efficiencies.
