i am planning on removing the carbon canister thats behind my front bumper on passanger side. will this affect anything on my turbo???????

Nope. I removed mine. Do NOT plug the metal line than goes into it though (if you do you will draw a vacuum in your gas tank). You can get rid of all the Evap. lines that run from the canister to the throttle body and the Evap. purge valve. You will have to find a cap that goes onto the nipple on the throttle body to block it off, and a hose clamp around it to keep it from blowing off (unless it fits VERY tight).

Im planning of doing this thing too, and ive heared that this is good to extend turbo life. Is this true ?

I was planning on removing mine since its tucked back by the rear axle on the eco swap.

anyone done this yet??
i have been told the effect will just be smelling the gas fumes???

I removed mine, broke the lines off where it comes up to the firewall. Ill have to check it ot make sure its not pinched though. It will throw a code, I deleted mine with HPT.
