I am not familiar with the Yukon or LS1 coil swap systems but I do know that alot of guys swap to a 2.2liter cavalier coil setup or a Neon coil setup. If you search you should be able to find some helpfull info. Both have external coils which can then be swapped for high performance ones such as MSD.

I want to add that this would be nice in a boosted aplication but that it is not an absolute must have. With the right plugs NGK TR6 part number NGK 4177 and plug gap (.030) you should be able to reach 250whp before it becomes a big deal. I know from experience.

I would worry about other aspects of your setup first.

im curious now...what would be better, LS1 coils or 2.2 coils?

I have seen one LS1 coil swap and I like the look and idea of having one coil per plug.
