sumping a tank

wondering if any of you guys have ever or has sumped a plastic fuel tank?
i dont really wanna hear why im doing this or just get a fuel cell. because i dont want to.

gary voyles sumped his plastic tank, making a sump mold then plastic welded it in

sumped stock tank? what kind of ground clearance you hoping to have?

why even bother with a sump?

i should have some decent clearance, with the car the way it is
because i have a bulkhead fitting in mine and i can hear my pump get pissed when i near 1/4 tank

Get the steel tank with baffles in it?


mixed with a syphon cup....

do they sell steel tanks for the cavs?
im runnin an aeromotive a1000 external pump, this is why i wanted to sump my tank..lol

95-98 had steel, as far as i know all steel tanks have baffles in,

Our Fuel senders, with the baffled tank, AND the racettronix fuel pump.....


I dare say you will not have fueling issues..... ever

Ya,I did mine when I switched from a steel tank to plastic. Main reason I did it was to run E85,the steel tanks don't like the ethanol (from what was told). And I wasn't too sure about the intank fuel pump/seals with ethanol. Not really worth it if your going to stick with gas,do the walbro/racetronix intank and a booster pump and you should do fine...

No booster pump...

On the W41 and the FMU I was seeing over 85 lbs....

Little to high ya know?
