Meth and timing

picking up a devils own progressive meth kit and was wondering when i go to tune it what are some of you guys using for your timing?? i tried searching but couldnt find anything about how much people are advancing their timing by.

he wants to know the degrees of timing advance most are running under certain conditions, not what program to use lol

Guess it depends on how much boost from which turbo. Start out at 15 if it knocks go down if it doesn't go up. Im running 17

im not running a turbo i got the M62. Yeah i was just curious as to what some people are running. not necessairly what im gonna set to.

I run 26 on my car...WITHOUT meth and roughly 23psi from a 60 trim, yeah so what I run 110 leaded race gas big deal lol.

My Cobalt with the LSJ runs 25 degrees on meth @ 22psi

My Cavy with an LD9 runs 15 degrees on meth with the t60-1 and 25psi

cool, as i said i was just wondering what other people with meth are running. i cant wait to get it along with my 3" pulley, h/e and a tune

Everyone is different depending on a lot of factors such as fuel, compression, forced induction, weather (region), amount of meth mixture, amount of actual injected meth, Best way to determine "your" sweet spot is to monitor KR and adjust timing accordingly till you no longer knock. Some knock is inevitable from time to time depending on aggressiveness of your tune. Trial and error on a dyno is a great starting point then some fine tuning on the road to finish her off.
