02 z gm charger and botched o2 sensor

i have a 02 2.4 with pacesetter header. when installed the idiot who put them in for me f'ed up the o2 plug by litterally cutting the whole thing off and extending both the sensor wires and the harness then soldered the two together. now my cel is on. this doesn't really bother me but i am getting the gm charger soon and don't know if this will cause me any real headaches!!! any opinions???

if he cut it on the o2 sensor side just get a new o2 sensor

then unhook the plug on the harness side from the bracket it sits on , and you will have enough length to reach the plugs together

... get an ohm meter, a good soder job.... (ill let that sink in)... will not affect m. volts, so it will run fine,

if i were you, i see if there was a draw in the line where he sodered it, as long as its done right, GM O.K's sodering the harness back together.

Not sure what the real problem is here, those wires can be extended without issue. Do you even know what the CEL is for? Unless you've confirmed it's an O2 code, you shouldn't just assume it's due to the work done by these "idiots".
