Alright so i read a post the other day about someone having a problem with the oil backing up in their turbo drain line and they found out it was because they just put a filter on the breather vent on the valve cover. Someone had mentioned about putting a hose from the valve cover to the non-compressed side (filter side) of the turbo because thats always vacuum to suck the vapors out of the crank case and the oil flowed fine down the drain line. So now i came up with this idea for a oil catch can to keep the oil vapors and oil itself if you have some blow by out of the intake track. So heres the pic
Inlet. From the Valve Cover
Exit, to Filter side of turbo
And the Drain for the oil
And this is the inside of the cap where im gonna put one of those little breather filters to keep even the oily vapors out
So yeah let me know what you think or any ideas you have.
Oh and ps i am gonna paint this so it doesnt look so bad. haha

deffinetly nice. the pipe could be bigger. if you look at most pcv hoses there all at least 1/2inch thick. also pcv is gonna look cheap under the hood. im sure there are fixes for it though.

i saw quite a few of these on ebay for not that expensive at all, now the question is, why do some have a valve to emty them, and others dont? thats what boggled me....
If you are looking to make a oil catch w/ drain. Check out a water separator for an air compressor, its compact and comes in different colors (blue or red). Last year at the local drags I talked to a guy with a SRT4 who came up with the idea. He told me they are avalible at Home Depot or possiblely at another hardware store who sells air compressors.
^^Yeah i have one of those on my air compressors.
