Guys im Finally gonna be intercooling my Cav in the up coming weeks, Extra money has finally came around after tax month and can spend a few $100's on the project. Here's what i was thinking.....I was gonna buy a 28x7x2.5 inch intercooler off Ebay, and buy 2 sets of intercooling universal pipes they sell on ebay also..the one i found has 6 pipes i can pick from U-bends to straight pipes to all kinds of stuff (couplers included). And basicly just cut to size and piece my own route of pipeing. Now i guess what im asking is ....anyone got any "heads up" tips i should know about..like i know some people took out the windshield washer fluid tank to route there pipeing through there etc; And tips or anything even pictures would be fantastic or maybe just some ideas..... im gonna be going into this blindly and would like to complete this in a Full days time and not be stumped...

make sure that you pipe size matches the inlet/outlet ports on the intercooler (2.5 or 2.75" likely) or order the right adapters...
make sure all connectors are blue silicone not plastic crap... they do cost a little more, but they don't wreck
buy 2.5" madrell bends (steel if you want to weld it at home)

I read on here and on a site when i was researching about intercoolers in general. ... that i would be okay with 2 inch intercooling pipeing unless i was making massive HP (250-300+) which this is a daily driver and not trying to make a full blown race car..hehe plus half of my charge pipes are already 2 inch and my DSM BOV is already welded on etc; im actually still debating on keeping or going 2 1/2 inch pipeing.....
I am sure that 2" would be more than enough.

This is what I planed on getting....
Intercooler and maybe a couple of sets of
Pipes off of Ebay. Anyone heard or had experience with those intercoolers? there kinda cheap but then again im not looking for a massive intercooler also. When this is all said and done my max PSI ill be running will prob be 7-8.
Woops ! Sorry that intercooler has ended and appearently isnt showing up ...but i found another one...
