so i have a 97 2.4L Z24 and im currently going to rebuild the engine with maybe a supercharger. What supercharger would i need to get with how much boost before i change the internals and what else would i need to s/c my engine?

well considering there are only 2 superchargers for the LD9 and one i dont know if you can even really change the boost on it... and the other you can take it right to its max and still not have to change your internals... im guessing your new and havent a clue of either the 2 s/c'er they offer for your car?

the only two there are for your car are GM M45 supercharger and a RSM supercharger...

GM 2.4L supercharger

and rsm's site is down but its www.rsmracing.com

lots of problems came of the rsm kit, but i think if you got it and tuned it your self (or a shop) with a HP tuner kit it would work pretty damn good...

You can actually get the RSM charger a lil bit further on power, however its a very trying process and not nearly as easy as the just bolt on M45 Gm setup

I doubt if you can even get one these days, and unless your pretty crafty and good with tuning its a hassle

i was a total rookie when i got mine and didnt know what I was getting myself into and it ended up taking me 2 years to get things right and it wasnt always a fun learning experience, there was many trying times

too bad that M45 is too small... maybe I should design something for a m62, anybody interested in that?
