Idles high after pcv hooked up

OK i have a 2.4. Working at boosting it. I tapped the hole in the head and installed a npt barbed fitting. I the ran a vac line from the fitting to a small fuel filter and then to a check valve then to the intake mani. I have the hose that goes from the timing chain cover to the oil/air separator installed. I don't have the other hose that goes from the separator to before the turbo hooked up yet but i did cap it off for now. Every thing is clamped and seem to have any leaks. But the car idles high. IF i pinch off the vac line that goes to the oil/air sep. the car idle about 300 rpms. less. I also have a lot of black smoke coming out of the turbo (exhaust no hooked up) seems like car is running rich. any ideas?
