just installed the 550 in my car and it runs like crap. sounds like one piston doesnt fire and there is smoke coming out the exhaust(gas). there are no other fuel mods as of this time but sometime today a fuel pump and fpr are coming in. when those are put in i also have a s-afc2. the thing i want to know is that can i lower the fuel pressure in the rail so that the car wont run so bad?
A SAFC will be useless with boost.
And of course it runs like crap. Search before buying and doing stupid things.

mfk-223 you think you could help give some good advice sometime instead of being a prick all the time and not helping anyone? if you not gonna help then shut the &%$# up.
as for the car running like crap you need to tune your vcm or pcm whatever you wanna call it so your computer knows you running 550 injectors and not the stock. your computer doesnt know you have bigger injectors. get hptuners and you can fix that problem

Also, you tried to be a smart ass and you don't know what you are talking about. Nice try.
What you wanted to say is that with Hp tuner, you can change the injector pulse and constant. That way you can control them. If he DOESN'T know that the SAFC won't help with boost, he is not ready to tune with Hp tuner.
Also, I helped alot of people and like everybody else I did mistake. One thing tough, smart "ss like you get on the guy that have been here for a while and know there things.

From what I saw, you are pissed off at me for your VVT post. One thing you need to learn over here, if you don't search and ask question like that, you'll get burned. You can count yourself lucky cause it's alot better than what it use to be.
So next time, search, search, look around on google then ask if you didn't find anything.
If you don't like the way I answer, just ignore me or leave. I won't leave because one noob is not happy of the way I treated him. This is the internet, live with it. If that is enough to pissed you off, you won't go far in life cause there's things alot more difficult to go trough.

Thats why we have the search function on these forums. So stupid questions aren't asked. If he would've done a search for S-AFC he probably could've answered his own dumb question. I like him hate people who don't search. It shows laziness, and laziness is my number one peeve.

The problem is people don't do thier research. They jump in, feet first, and wonder why it doesn't work. Lets see, double the size of the injectors, car runs like crap.... No REAL way of controlling them. The SAFC is useless, in boost or out, as far as I'm concerned, and yes, I owned one. I couldn't even get it to idle 320cc's much less 550's.
People need to think things through before they do stuff to thier cars. Plain and simple. There is a whole FAQ up there on how to correctly size and tune injectors...
