ok i found out that the stock s/c plugs ate r42lts
but couldn't running hotter plugs possibly cause a misfire for you?

On a SC car, the last thing you want is hotter plugs, if you want to lean it out, adjust the fuel somehow.
15.3 @ 89.97mph, 14's on the way?
Ya I can't see anything good coming from a hotter index plug.

well i put in a hotter plug, ngk tr4 and the car is running alot smoother and quicker it seems, the air fuel gauge has leaned out by a bar and a half on the gauge and im loving it. I talked to a few guys who race at the local track with v8's and a guy with a gtp and they all have done this and said it works fine for them.

, also at idle the air fuel is reading in the ideal area not the rich area like before.
