Should my charge pipes be generally the same size as my exhaust? and will i do any harm to my engine if i keep my 2.25 magnaflow duel catback setup or is this something I can upgrade to 3 inch later on? Also i plan on running 8 psi with all the proper upgrades (injectors, intercooled, BOV etc..)
2.5" charger pipes are fine for your setup.
I have seen 2.5 inch ic pipes up to 700hp. youll be fine with 2.5.
bascily your charge pipes will work the same way as your turbo. the larger they are the more power potential there will be. (depending on other varaiables) the smaller they are the faster the spool.

Kick azz is my boost hero!!! "
not completely true. i gurantee if you have 3 in ic pipes you will make less power than on 2.5 inch ic pipes.
your charge pipe size depends on the power you plan on making and the size of your turbo.
honestly I cant see why anyone running a stock motor would run anything larger than 2.25"
I actually have seen better output from 2" pipes.
It spools faster and you get the power you need throught more of your rpm range resulting in an all around quicker car.
peak hp isnt always what you want.

But where do you guys get the piping? From local muffler shops or online somewhere?
yea, or jegs.com, ebay, summitracing, a lot of places

i have found a couple of aluminum 2.25in pipes on ebay they include couplers and clamps also for around 150 a set not shure about quality but aluminum will disipate heat and is lighter
