We regret to inform you JTuners is temporarily suspending some of our operations, as you know them today, until we secure a more reliable manufacturer of our highly-customized piping that meets our high quality & delivery standards. We simply lack the capital to invest in the equipment/labor needed to produce these items in-house.
During this temporary situation, we must scale back to operating on a very part-time basis. Thus, effective immediately, we will no longer offer the entire variety of J-Body performance parts we’ve carried in the past, instead focusing exclusively on the unique products we offer, primarily turbo kits. We encourage you to shop for other J-Body performance products with our good friend, Karo, at CarCustoms.net.
We will continue to offer our 2.2L/2200 OHV & 2.4L DOHC turbo kits, as well as the SplitSec fuel tuning solution, Yank converters, Cometic MLS head gaskets and Patriot heads - however only under some revised terms & conditions. We realize these terms may not be satisfactory to many would-be customers, but we don’t want to make promises we cannot fulfill. We will also continue development of the Ecotec kit currently in progress, but have no estimated release date yet.
The short explanation of these new terms and conditions is that we’ll need to accumulate 5 orders of each style turbo kit before we order the components. This is the ONLY way we get good service and reliable delivery dates from our manufacturers. Once 5 orders are received, it will still take several weeks to get the components and assemble the kits. We’ll be asking for a small deposit upon ordering, but will not require the remainder of payment until the kits are ready to be shipped. This will also apply to heads, converters and fuel/timing calibrators, but NOT with Cometic gaskets since we try to keep those in stock for immediate delivery. With regards to contacting us from this point forward. We can ONLY return calls (888-JTUNERS) or respond to emails pertaining to JTuners turbo kits, Yank torque converters, SplitSec fuel/timing calibrators, Patriot heads, Cometic gaskets or pending orders. We will no longer be able to advise on rebuilding engines or the merits, performance or specifications of products other than the above. We’re very sorry, but we simply will not have the ability to do so operating in a very part-time manner – and PLEASE be patient with us as it may still take a few days to respond. Emails are easiest for us to respond to, by the way, so you’ll get faster responses via emails than phone calls.
We take great pride in the quality of our products and the way we’ve treated our turbo customers. Many of you know we lacked a bit in timely return of calls/emails, and we simply do no want to tarnish an otherwise good reputation with poor customer service. Yet, it has proven too difficult for a small manufacturer, serving a relatively small niche market to do so on a full time basis. We’ll continue offering only the highest quality 2.2L/2200 OHV and 2.4L DOHC turbo kits at a reasonable price, but that means a very slim profit margin, making it hard to run the business full-time or to survive as a company without a dependable source of quality custom piping.
One more important item: Since we serve many turbo customers, each with varying: performance/boost goals; climates/elevations/driving conditions; intended use of boosted vehicle; degrees of “hardened” engine internals; mechanical and tuning skills; and opinions on tuning solutions, JTuners does NOT offer turn-key fuel-enhancement solutions with our kits. HOWEVER, it is strongly advised that ANY turbo customer address the increased fuel and tuning necessary with any turbo installation. We DO sell the SplitSec Fuel/Timing Calibrator, which WE find to be the easiest, most reliable solution when combined with properly-sized injectors for your application. Please DO NOT install any turbo system without also considering what fuel-enhancement system you’ll need!
Please keep an eye on our web site as we will soon be offering for sale at great prices many items from our inventory of other parts under a “Specials” section. Also, since we had to make a number of changes to our site to accommodate our new way of operating, please review it carefully when shopping or buying and if you notice any errors or problems, let us know and we’ll get them fixed ASAP.

Sucks to hear that a company of your reputation has to resort to part-time status. However, I know for a fact that being upfront and honest about your situation will, in-turn, bring you more recognition in the long run.
You've been at this for years, and I can only see the business grow stronger, I think everybody needs to 'reformat' once in a while.
