Ok so right now I have the GM 2.4 supercharger injectors which are 29.5lb/310cc im seeing duty cycles at 89% to get my desired AFR and im still a bit too lean in some parts so im sure that number will creep even higher.
I'm thinking about either 330cc or 370cc, anyone know of a injector type of this size 12ohm resistance that idles really well, what I have now doesnt seem that great at lower pulsewidths

I'm using 440cc Accels and they idle perfectly at 15-60 PSI fuel pressure.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

10K PB: 54:26
what base pressure are you running them at?
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
20 right now

just use the 36lb eco s/c injectors

20 psi with a 440cc injector? i had a hard time idling 370cc's on my way to the dealership before i got the gm flash. u could see the black exhaust from the unburnt fuel. it was bad. i think the base fuel pressure was like 32psi.
it doesnt seem like its "starving" for fuel or the opposite and just flooding rich?
No problem whate-so-ever. At idle the computer is pulling fuel out so that it idles at 14.7:1 and it idles PERFECT.

will the gm charger injects for the eco idle ok without base pressure adjustments?
p/n for them?
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
search the cobalt and redline fourms , im sure youll be able to pick up a set fairly cheap , from the guys doing any upgrades , wether its GM's stage kits or ZZP's
i had them in my g/fs cav idling at the stock 50 something psi , and i never had any black rich clouds outta the tail pipe , but it was close to that before the reflash
the 2.0 s/c injectors , look idential to the 02 injectors , except for the green tops on them
so what your saying is the cobalt ss injectors are the same as whats included for the 03-05 eco supercharger kits?
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
yes, that is what he is saying. the cobalt ss injector is the one on the left and the stock 02 eco injector is the one on the right.
the color difference is only there for injector reference. we also made a black on and a blue one.
black = not sure what cars took these, but these were the smallest flowing out of the four
grey = 02 eco
blue = saab 175hp
green = saab 210hp (highest flowing)
the green injectors TP(test plan) 176 are made in Pisa Italy now; we no longer make them here in the states.
well i am using a 03 fuel rail not an 02 as pictured there, does that make a differnce
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
iv'e talk to a couple of people that said they used them on an 03 rail and have had no problems. i used an 02 rail because of a couple of reason (some i wont disclose cause i like my job), but the main reason is because of the regulator i wanted to use.
well rated size the eco kit and the 2.0 s/c are the same , the eco s/c kit uses the skinny black injectors like used in the 03-05's , and 2.0s/c uses the 1's in the pics above
and yes you can use the green tops above with the 03-05 rail
yea i would need the 03-05 style i know that would work pretty good, got a p/n on those injects for the supercharger kit?
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
either style will work for you , both are pop in , plug in and go
i think getting good low mile used 2.0s/c are gonna be cheaper to get
12593904 is the part # for the 1's in the 2.2 kit
i have a friend who had an old set i use to run. not sure what condition they are in, but all injectors do (should) have filters in them. probably just need to be cleaned a little. if youre interested pm me and i'll try to set something up with him.
Ok. This is the exact topic i was going to bring up *again*
I'm leaning up on the top end now (low 13s on wb af).
Paco loco,
In that picture with the 2.0 s/c injecters vs the 2.2l gms/c ones, the 2.0 in that picutre is broken right? Cause isn't that a little short? Also, i know 97cavies is using 2.0 s/c injectors and you made spacers for them, do you still have a picture of that? Could u post it or email it to me. Also, is it true the eco 2.2ls/c injectors are a direct fit vs.the 2.0s/c ones. And one more thing, the gm 310cc injectors are actually made by rochester and can be purchased fairly cheaply from diff. companies. Who makes the 2.2l s/c injectors ?
I have 32lb injectors high independence (~335cc) that i was going to use, but would rather stay with a gm product and avoid hacking up my wiring harness. Not sure what kind of luck or problems (if any) people are having using ford injectors.
Thanks

the green top paco loco posted is not a fully assembled , the green top fully assembled will resemble the 1 next to it
Thank you for the part number... Now i know which injecters im getting to top off my Shopping list.

yea im curious as to who really makes them for the gm 2.2 supercharger eco kits
the 310s i have now are dirt cheap by rochester like less than 30 each

ill have to look at mine at home , but they should be rochester
since they are the skinny black 1's

Hey 97cavie,
k.. sorry to ask this again*. So the 2.0 eco s/c ones are a direct plug in to the harness for 2k+ 2.4ls? But what about the length. Will they fit into directly ino the rail? I'm picking up a set from a local 2.0 s/c eco guy on thursday. Hoping to get them on in time for the track a few days after.
Thanks.
