ecm mods just an afpr and some other minor stuff. the guy also said that he was running 16psi on stock internals with just the afpr and msd box.

Swear on my life, one of my friends, Brad Kueter was running 22lbs of boost on his built 2.4 with 550cc injectors and an S-AFC...figure that one out. And it idled PERFECTLY. He didnt even have an afpr. Granted, it wasnt tuned very well, had some driveability issues, but if he would have taken it to the track he deff. would have been in the 11's. He ran a boosted civic that ran a 13.1 and made it look like a chevy aveo.
holy @!#$!!! btw what does s-afc stand for? stand alone? damn i hate it when i don't know what somthing is.
what turbo was he runnin? what kind of internals etc.?

He didnt get the JBP reflashed ECM onto the car, he sent them his ecm, they sent him a replacement ecm so he could dive his car while they had it, spun a rod bearing (engine builder speced rod bearings wrong, had sporatic oil pressure since day one, up to 100 psi sometimes) so he called them and told them not to reflash it, they were fine with it, he kept their ecm and they kept his.

Kinda backwards for a core system......
It wasnt a core, he was more less "renting" the ecm from them so that he could drive his car while they were reflashing it. But it was like 2-3 days after that all went down when his motor took a turd, so he called them and told them the situation, and since they had the same ecm's, instead of him paying shipping again, they just agreed to keep eachothers ecm's.
why didnt they just modify the one they had and then send it to him? Why have him send his, they send a stock one back, then they program one? sounds all backwards to me........

haaa. dudes last name is kooooooter.
carry on.
That is WAYYYY out of date, but anyway. I am not sure why they didnt just program the one they had, but...I think it was just the fact that ECU WAS his and that is the one they were going to modify, but who knows, I doubt they actually could do anythign with it anyways, hes probably lucky it worked out the way it did and he didnt have to pay them the 500$$.
