Hey everyone, i've tried searching to see if anyone has even talked about this before but couldn't find anything. So I thought I'd ask those who have the kit for some help.
What spark plugs are you using? Any help is greatly appreciated.

im running the champion srt-4 plugs
Good luck with the SRT plugs.
They will heat the motor up on the top of your blower already doing a good damn job.
What I don't understand is, why don't people research the plugs, and on the NGK the number part most of the time means the heat range so 5 on the SRT plug is the same as 5 on our stock plugs.
You are not doing any good running the SRT plugs, you will most likey detonate your enging without knowing many times like I have, I hope you have a forged motor.

SunCavi where did you get your information that the S2 RE14MC-C5 Champion spark plugs are hotter than our stock AC Delco 41-981 platinum spark plugs and will cause detonation? Are you saying the engine in the Neon SRT 4 runs much cooler under boost and off boost than our engines?Spark plugs by themselves do not control cylinder temps. Air fuel ratio as well as combustion chamber design and engine load Ign. timing do more to cause peak cylinder pressures and temperatures that may cause detonation. You run your engine at upwards of 21 PSI. Under those extreme conditions every thing become more critical. The SRT 4 Champion spark plugs are not a good choice for your engine. But for others running 5 to 14 PSI they do the job.Plus they are a near perfect fit in the L61. And at $4.50 cdn per plug they are cheap so I can afford to put a freash set in a few times a year if I want.
Thats Him Officer The WICKED One.
nobody has blown up an ecotec due to a spark plug issue
The champions arent much different than stock and they are run on the SRT4 with up to 14-15lbs which is more than what most ppl here run with blower or turbo, so theres no longevity issue there
The stock plugs are what GM reccommends and they tested the darn thing, so ill go with that before any clowns with a year or two experience on here try to tell me otherwise, ive run 7psi for over a year and 20k miles on stockers and it runs better with them than the champion plugs do, just make sure to change them about every 5k to keep them fresh

Well I just put in a set of stock ac delco plugs at stock gap and the car loves it! With the srt 4 plugs it kinda bogged if you ran it hard for a bit. Im gonna pick up a set of new delcos this week and drop the gap a little.
non msd id say go .040 or .035, if your running msd .045

Ive got the SRT4 plugs on my car right now and Im running the 3"pulley at about 13psi and I cant say that I really can tell the difference between those the the stock plugs. Except that it bogs a lil bit when the motor is cold and I first start it up with the SRT Plugs. Im going to see how the motor likes them when I run more boost, but I may be going back to the Delco plugs.
Check out my car....

Thanks for the info guys, it helps a lot. I was also having a problem with my car after starting it up in the morning's sometimes. It will idle fine but after I back out of my drive way and start to go forwards it kinda sputter's i guess and gets very close to dying. At times it even has died. Any idea as to how I can fix it?
