Alright guys I need to purchase a new set of plugs for when I put the turbo on here and was wondering what you guys recommend? I am going to be running 10psi with the gm 2 bar and reflash along with the 310cc injectors. I was told to gap them around .035. Does that sound about right? So anyway just wondering what plugs you would recommend and also if there are any gm/ac delco ones that would be best since I get them at a list. Thanks in advance! Hope to have pictures of the final product up soon.

NGK TR6 2 stages colder...0.035
www.daptronics.com Huge Discounts on Electronics
I believe that TR6 are only one step colder, the TR7's are two steps colder. part# 3690, but they are iridium and 13 bucks each :S
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
I thought I remember reading awhile back about the iridium plugs not working so good? Not sure though. So the TR7's at .035 outta do it? Thanks in advance!

ahh no your not... you know how lean you will be going... 310cc injectors on a turbo car will not be enough.. i will garenty you will be going full out lean... 310cc is good for about 220-230whp @ 100% duty which you never want to have your injectors running... i will be willing to be @10psi you will be over 220hp....
The First Twin Charged jbody
blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno
I have an Accel Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator as well so won't that solve my problem?

I still don't know what is going on with my car, I got the 2 stages colder plugs and have not had time to scan it again, (thanks IAN) but in first and second sometimes it flips into limp mode. Yesturday the check engine light even started flashing, I'm thinking I might need to get some 440cc injectors and go from there... sorry to thread jack, but I got the irdium plugs and they seem to work well, but I guess they were not my problem.

injector clipping???

So would the injectors for the new ecotec supercharger kit be a good upgrade and would they hook up to my 2.4L rail, because if so I can get those for a good price. Thanks in advance! Sorry for all the questions just want to get all of the bugs worked out before I get it all together.

my denso iridiums at one stage colder @!#$ suck. i missfire anything over 3500rpms at partial throttle. but then again i'm running 550cc injectors :-p
i'm thinking of amping the spark, because the ngk tr6 did the same thing

Hey ge_forcez22 how many psi are you running and off of what turbo? I am just curious. Also what would be the easiest way to try and fix my fuel mods to support the 10psi? I plan to run 7psi daily and only 10 at the track. Thanks in advance!

shifted - fuel pressure around the 80-85 mark on 310cc on 11psi (smaller turbo so less CFM) I need to get some 550 and tune with hptuners, that I think is the next step
Tim - the turbo I am running has no specs released to the public, I measured it and came up with a .48 a/r hot, .48 (ish) a/r with 54trim compressor, all mounted on a T3 flange, with a twin ball bearing, oil/water cooled center section. If you wanna run 10psi, shifted will agree that larger injectors are the answer, but then you need to turn down base FP or tune the computer to accept them (HPT)

Hmm...So what would be the cheapest injectors I could buy for my setup and how many cc or # should I look about getting? I already have the 310cc's installed on my car too.. Thanks in advance!

i would say talk to Karo... here is a link to his page with the injectors i would say would be your best bet... unless you can find some Ford Green tops...
440cc RC injectors

Okay so I got some NGK 4177 TR6 with V-Power since its all I could find? Are these the correct ones? They were $1.77 each if that helps. Thanks in advance!

factory is TR55, TR6 is one step colder, TR7 is 2 step colder. sounds like they should fit, double check length and thread, etc, just to make sure, I don't know much about those plugs.

i got part #'s for ac delco plugs for different stages
stock s/c plugs : AC delco R42LTS
rapid fire #5 part #:25164643 25332827
AC delco pn = #5614285 gapped @ .40
# ac 41-602 gm# 5614285 2 step colder plugs
stage 2 plugs (colder) which is R42LTSM which is GM's part number of 5614197
So would the TR55IX work for colder plugs? I have a 99 2200.
NGK Homepage
the tr55ix's are stock replacement, the tr6's are 1 stage colder and tr7's are 2 stages colder
i had the ac delco #41-602 and my car ran goofy. not sure if it was the gas i had in there from storage or what. but i put in the rapid fire #5's i had last year and it runs better.
careful though, them #5's might be platinum. last i heard they stopped making non platinum.

well those are the factory heat range, at least if they are ngk, and that looks like an NGK part# TR7 is 2 steps colder
