I have the Hahn Stage II kit and was wondering if the GM reflash would benefit me in any way, or should I just leave my system alone and stick with the Cartech FMU and external fuel pump. Any insite on this would be appreciated.
im sure it will help out , since it will know when its under boost and can retard timing incase you get a case of knock for some reason
which will help save the motor
so does the gm reflash makes ur system automatically know when theres boost, how much fuel to run, and where to set timing by itself regardless on where u set ur boost? just asking cause thats what it seems like
its called a MAP sensor, the sensor reads boost and vaccum and increase/decrease's fuel
Well I think with the 2 bar it can control up to like 16psi or something if you have big enough injectors or other fuel mods to support it. But I would say that it would be a good upgrade especially if you know you have enough fuel to your system you can just use the reflash to tweak out everything else so you don't have to worry about tunning so much.

ive been wondering if the reflash performs boost retard. that could be helpful to me. i like the idea of continuing to use the stock ignition and having a knock sensor.
99 Turbo Sunfire GT | Ram 2500 | International Rollback | Mr Hanky the Suburban
OBVIOUSLY THE REFLASH IS SET UP FOR BOOST , or we wouldnt need it , just through 40 psi at it and call it a day
MUST BE NICE TO KNOW HOW TO READ
so i would need the gm reflash, 2bar or 3 bar map sensor and then my car will be able to read boost and vacuum just like a car that came with turbo like a GTI or somthin, and how exactly do u hook up this map sensor and is there a certain one i need to get, i have a 99z
and another thing, could i just go to any gm or chevy dealership and have them reflash it, and what price would that be?
just need help from other jbody tuners out there, thanks
on a 99 youd be screwed for it , right now it will only work on 00-05 cars
You could do a pcm swap for the 00+ cars and then you could go from there. So its up to you on how much you want to spend. I don't have a price on my reflash because my dad works for the dealer so I got it for free. But you could even run wideband and leave your car as is and tune it from there.
