Pulling Motor, What Accessories can be on it GMSC?

Alright I am getting close to pulling my motor. When I did my girlfriends vert with the 2.4 I pulled engine and tranny together from the top, without any accessories on it, including tensioner, AC, alternator, intake mani everything.

My question, is it possible to pull it with the GM SC on? If not can I pull it without pulling all the serpentene stuff? It would be awesome to assemble everything while it is out of the car, especially the SC belt and stuff. Thanks
Chris

Yea, I am more concerned about the accessories, dont really feel like taking everything off, especially the lower SC bracket.

pull off as much as possible

on a 5spd car , you gotta do alot of odd angles to get it out

on a auto trans its easier to pull the motor then the trans

I had the same idea when I dropped my engine in, load it up with everything possible. Thought if I was real careful it wouldn't be a problem.

After pulling the A/C compressor, intake manifold, turbo and manifold, ..... it went in. It took more time to pull all the parts on a hanging engine than it would have to put them on afterward. Personally, I suggest pulling as much as you can before dropping the engine in. The paint in your engine bay will thank you.

pull the tires and subframe, place cart with wheels (think skate boardish) under engine. Lower car down till engine is on cart. Pull mounts. Lift car and roll engine/trans out from under car.

Only thing you really need to remove is the A/C, unless you you want to charge the system again.
