Another GM SC EVAP Plate Question...
Monday, March 06, 2006 6:37 AM
When I put the EVAP Purge Solenoid back onto the new Idler Pulley bracket
I can' seem to run the hose from the solenoid back into the engine because
it hits the AC Hose. Its on the side with the Electrical connector as well.

Now when I did put the Solenoid on the bracket its very lose
so I'm wondering if it slides all the way on ??

The tab on the bracket also seems useless ??

umm.......i dont know quite what you're talking about in the first question, but i do remember that it was a very "tight" fit in terms of length on both the hoses that go on the solenoid.

also, yes that tab can seem loose, but it is supposed to slide all the way on the bracket and clip on. the little tab that acts as the clip is sometimes not bent down enough to actually "clip", so just take a flat head and push it down a little
