who here has just painted them with a standard spray can......does it hold up to the heat, have you noticed any peeling or flaking...because if your not im thinking of having a body shop shoot them for me.....powder coat may be expensive but the body shop will be cheaper.........so just wondering what everyone has done......thanks

Powdercoat it.. I've dropped wrenches and screwdrivers on my charge pipes and not a single chip.
Seriously - it's the best bang for the buck.
