I have a 01 with the 2200 a t3 intercooled kit with 10:1fmu at 6psi and need to order my fuel injectors and i dont know what size injector to get. 330cc 0r 370cc 0r 415cc any feed back will help
all depends on how much boost u wanna run. i dk but there are probably some posts before this asking bout this subject so maybe searching might yeild some results dude. adn if not there is a formula in the faq that can kinda help u out to calculate what size injectors u need. hope u find what ur looking for dude goodluck!
well you will have SERIOUS trouble idling anything larger then 330's without AFPR AND SAFC......... but if you want no more then say 11psi in the end ..... then 330 redtops will do just fine ...................... 6 psi on stock injectors is dangerous.......... what are you air fuel ratios like ???

yeah, but at 6 is when the stock injectors starts to lean out. but anything before 6 the car will run fine. I've researched and found that the z24 injectors on the 2200 can solve the leaning at 6 to 8 psi. I'm going to test on that on my next turbo project too.
so r u saying that z24 stock injectors will work fine for 6-7 psi?
yup, the stock z24 injectors are pumping at 24# compairing to the 2200 at 19. So it's a good increase for up to 8 psi.
Wow I love how ppl can tell others what size injectors they need when the guy didn't even mention what kinda horsepower he wants to hit.
Injector rating is not boost-dependant.... it's horsepower-dependant. For all you know he's running 150 wheel horses at 6 psi on a teeny turbo or almos 200 on a huge efficient turbo. Kinda changes what size injectors somebody might need.

THANK YOU. I am glad you posted it so I wouldn't have to because that's what I was getting ready to write. Fuel injector size is about the only time where HP numbers are ever really necessary (because other than that, HP is a useless number in all reality).
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
i'm want about 200hp to 250hp
well I assumed T3s to be about the size of super 60 being the biggest he would go so I went off there.
ok here it is the magic formula.......
Horsepower x Brake Specified Fuel Consumption (usually .55 or .6 for turbo) / # of injectors x your max Duty cycle you would want to see (usually .8 or no more than 80
so if you wanted to make 200 horsepower
200 x .6 / 4 x .8 = injector flow in lbs/hr <----multiply by 10.2 to get cc/min
120 / 3.2 = 37.5 lbs/hr or 382.5 cc/min @ 200Hp
now 250 Horsepower
250 x .6 / 4 x .8 = injector flow
150 / 3.2 = 46.875 lbs/hr or 478.125 cc/min
so with any of the above mentioned injectors except for the 415 cc/min ones you will be running you injectors at too high a duty cycle and will burn them out. the downside to getting the injectors that are sized right is they will not idle well with you stock computer which makes Megasquirt or some other type of standalone fuel management crucial.
and trust me i know about some duty cycle issues i ran a t3 60 trim on my eco ( even with Megasquirt) on 350 cc/min volvo turbo injectors and burnt them up at only 8 psi because i was running close to 135% duty cycle. fun while they lasted.
but i would say ditch the FMU and go with a better way to manage the RIGHT injectors.
just my thoughts
