Cobalt SS Part#s?

Where is the easiest place to get all these numbers besides bugging the dealer? Can I purchase a shop manual or are there places online that have all the part#? I need quite a few different parts.

Well what parts are you looking for? Do you need the part #s to do the supercharger swap?

This is the best thing I could find...

http://www.gm.com/company/gmtunersource/downloads/gm_sport_compact_performance_build_book.pdf

That is a PDF of the GM Performance Parts ECOTEC Build Handbook. If you go to page 43 on the PDF (page 39 on the booklet itself) you will see a supercharger parts list which should be everything you need. Hopefully that will help you out.

I figured I was going to have to anyway, Im just trying to decide on the Saab turbo or the cobalt s/c setup.

Well what are your power gain expectations?

I was going to try the Saab turbo setup cause it would have been exceptional cheaper but I saw that it's not something I really wanted. The turbo isn't extremely small but I don't think it would have pushed the amount of power that I wanted. I needed something bigger.

Also, if you do a saab swap, you're basically using the manifold and the turbo, you can't really use anything else unless you get your hands on some injectors with it (hopefully not used). Everything else has to be fabbed because the Saab 2.0s don't have a front mount intercooler or side mount, they water-cool the turbos. If you did use this setup, you would basically have to stay internally wastegated because the manifold doesn't have a port for you to go external.

I mean, you're basically going to end up buying a full turbo kit minus a saab manifold and turbo...might as well piece something more to your needs and wants than to do it cause it's cheaper (well that was my initial reason to do it lol).
