Easiest way to remove CD player

What the hell is the easiest way to remove the cd player without cracking the dash piece. They are a SOB to get in and out.

Tips and pics would be nice, or a link to a writeup...

There's writeups for sunfire and cavalier removal. we have no idea what vehicle you have. For all we know it's a 1983 Yugo.

What dash piece are you referring to?

(yes it is for the gauge pod but I think you can figure out the relevant parts)

If your careful and take your time you shouldn't break anything, I have taken the dash apart numerous times without breaking anything.
