ok so now i have the 1000.1 kicker amp(2 ohm) and a 15" 1000w l7 (2 ohm)...how should i wire this to get the most power(without harming any equipment)pics would be nice...tnahks

you can wire your voice coils in series, in which case youll get 500W going to the sub at 4 ohms. you really should have paid attention to your other thread tho, since people told you to get the dual 4 ohm sub so that you could get the most out of your sub and amp combination.

ok guys sorry for asking stupid questions....i returned the d2 for the d4....so now what should the wiring on the back of the sub to the amp look like?

wire + from one coil to the - of the other then your remainding + and - goes to your amp which will give you a 4 ohm load but if you want most out of that amp either get another dual 2ohm sub or get a dual 4 ohm sub to wire it up to a 2ohm load dont forget to use 8awg wire for the wire from sub to amp
