true. especially since he didnt give specifics. there are more than one rf model and the kappas come in multiple sizes

It could be anything, what youre powering them with... what kinda box you put it in, what size of sub... etc, etc...

well the thing is i have 2 subs , 1 rockford fosgate p2 10 ' and another is infinity kappa 10' also, i know that mixing subs is not good so i would like to pair them up. also when it comes to choosing a box i need your guys opinion as well, should i go with ported or sealed, now i know you'll say it depends on what i like, but what i am looking at is YOUR personal experience and feedback. now since i like them both it's hard for me to choose so please help me out!

okay, my personal opinion. go with the infinity in a sealed box to built to spec.

imo tight punchy bass is best in sealed boxes. as for subs. duh if you have them both listen to them both. if your not wnating to go custom on the box just get a prefab as close as possible to the specs. and if your not trying to be really loud all you want is some bass and sq one sub is fine. it will probly be louder then you think. and from my experiance the kappas have better sq then the lower level rf stuff.

Personally i have had both rockford p3's and infinity kappa 12'' woofers. Currently i have my kappas(svc's) in a sealed box built to spec w/ an alpine mrp m850 and they hit very low and deep, Honestly they dont hit like the rockford p3's BUT if you look at specs on these subs the rms, freq response, excursion, voice coil size are all different so it truely is very difficult to compare these. When i had thep3's i had them in a sealed box altough most do ported and they were still incredibly deep and loud but also had 1200rms going to them. Any sub you get if you get it the recommended rms power to it,a good power source(battery/alternator)a good headunit, good cables and the proper air space for the subs any sub can sound great.....look up the specs for the kappas, you wont be dissapointed or if you'd like pm me i can email you a tutorial good luck
