amp turns off when playing a cd?

well, i finished wiring my amp, cd player, and subs tonight. i tested it out, and the amp turns off when i change the source to cd player, but works fine with the tuner. any ideas what the problem is?

yea hook it up to the blue/white not blue......if you dont have blue/white then use the red wire....

most radios come with two turn on's - one for the amp and one for the antenna. you hooked it up to the antenna.

probably what they said but if not ...

check to see there isnt a short in the remote turn on wire as well. sounds like the max current of the remote turn on is being exceeded causing them to turn off. other option is run the remote turn on to a relay then power up the amp with that.

or just hook up the correct turn-on wire, common problem, why try making it seem harder than it is?
