A few months ago my rear window defogger stopped working, a huge pain being that I live in Wisconsin. I've check the fuse several times and all is good. I've noticed though that when I push the defogger button, a click is heard and the light goes on. I am than able to push the button again and the light goes off. I remember in the past that when it was working the light always stayed on for the 15 minutes or so until the timer shut it off. Is this a problem in the timer switch thing that may or may not be located behind the HVAC controls? If it is I guess I can just hardwire past the timer and remember to turn the defogger off after a few minutes of use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We've only got a day or two of 32 degree weather here before it gets back to the negatives.
Thanks!
Yes....... I know that's not a lizard.
Wow, thanks for the quick response! I tried searching but looks like defrost was the proper word, my bad. I'll be looking for my melted parts shortly.

its been over a year now and the defog in that car still works. i havent replaced it with a solid harness yet nor have i changed those crimps on the 10 gauge wire to solder and shrink yet. anyways, it still is working fine, and i might get around to changing that.
