OK here is the deal. EVERY post I can find that has a picture of a good quality home made 6.5 adapter for the front door for some reason the picture wont show up. Now alot of other pictures will show up but god must not want me to see the pics because only pictures of adapters wont show up for me. I am definitely wanting to make my own and if someone could I am also looking for pics of 6x9 adapters for the rear deck as well because my 6x9s wont fit right lol. any help is appreciated, thanks.

When I made my adapters for my 6.5 comps in the doors, i traced the old bracket, and the speaker grill and cut it out,drilled the 4 holes from the original bracket and installed. Worked fine.
Ill see if I can get you a picture, its only mdf, not pretty much why does it need to be?

huge help thank you! How thick did u go with it? I made some and they dont fit, but they look NOTHING like that lol. and I was using I think 3/4" should I go with a thinner MDF? Thanks
I think that was 1/2", the only problem I had was fitting the speaker in, it was against the metal door frame, I just took a dremel and rounded the door frame off to fit.
