Hey Guys, Im getting a pair of Infinity 6x9 Speakers to replace my factory rear speakers....Im wondering if these will fit without any problems? Also will I have to buy any kind of adapter for my stock headunit? And lastly will replacing these speakers do anything that may affect the factory alarm setting, like the car not starting or something like that? Thanks for the Help.....

You should have just gotten road gear from VIP for 9.99 if you aren't going to at least upgrade your head unit.

Does your car have the Monsoon system? If you have only the base model stereo system, replacing the speakers will not give you better sound, in fact it will probably sound even worse because aftermarket speakers have less sensitivity than the factory ones.

It will be fine, only problem will be the actual mounting. I mounted mine from below. They should sound fine from the stock radio but would be better amped.

Taken from someone who is grounding their aftermarket HUthrough the antenna and is too lazy to ground it properly.

You shouldn't have any problems - if you absolutely have to - you can use the stock mounting brackets (some modifying may be necessary)

Sure, I tell you then you tell someone else, next thing you know, we're in the middle of another ice age.
